About

ariaz are a six member girl group under rising star ent., a subsidiary of star empire. they debuted with their first mini album, grand opera, on october 24th, 2019, the title track being moonlight aria.
predebut, they used to be under star empire as empire girls and have had different members in its line up that have since left the company. and before that, 2 of its current members along with one of the previous members were set to debut as omzm before their debut was cancelled.
also during predebut, some of the girls have been on reality shows, like produce 101 and mixnine!
as of may 2020, we do not have official colors or an official name. we have an unofficial name that the members call us: arts or achoos, depending on translation.

yunji

-full name: kim yunji
-birthday: aug 26th, 1996
-position: leader/main vocal/lead dancer
-4th member to be revealed
-nickname: kim yunjibangyi
-was in produce 101 (84th) and mixnine (36th)

-was planned to debut in omzm
-favorite colors are pink and yellow
-fake maknae, she is babie

dawon

-full name: lee dawon
-birthday: dec 2nd 1996
-position: main vocal
-6th member to be revealed
-auditioned for mixnine but didn't make the cut
-was on 'i can see your voice' s6 ep 6
-joined star empire in 2015
-can imitate a weird laugh from the internet
-can beat jueun in arm wrestling

sihyeon

-full name: kang sihyeon
-birthday: july 15th 1998
-position: lead vocal/visual*
-3rd member to be revealed
-was on produce 101 (61st) and mixnine (29th)
-was planned to debut with omzm
-sang wonderful day for the soundtrack of the drama 'Fantastic'
-joined star empire in 2015
-likes sour foods
-the moodmaker of the group

yeori

-position: main rapper/main dancer/vocal

-former stage name was choi jiyeon but changed it in oct 2018

-absent-minded and talks slow

hyogyeong

-full name: jang hyogyeong
-birthday: nov 15th 1999
-position: lead vocal/lead rapper
-1st member to be revealed
-nickname: jangcasso
-her role model is ariana grande
-has aegyossal (since birth)
-was in mixnine (8th) but didn't debut due to the boy's group winning
-joined star empire in 2016
-can speak english
-plays piano and guitar
-likes drawing and writing lyrics

-if not an idol, she would have been an astronomer since she likes observing the stars

jueun

-full name: jo jueun
-birthday: jan 27th 2001
-position: maknae/vocal/visual*
-2nd member to be revealed
-joined star empire in 2016, left, then rejoined in 2018
-ariaz's best nose
-strongest member in arm wrestling
-very soft spoken and shy
-likes to go shopping and go to a cafe and chatting with friends
-would have been a flight attendant if not an idol since she always find them really awesome
